Privacy Policy
This policy explains how RecruitWise handles information while providing recruitment-workflow guidance inside JazzHR.
RecruitWise processes information locally in the authorized user's browser and does not transmit candidate or extension-usage information to external servers.
About RecruitWise
RecruitWise is an internal Chrome extension developed by ABBA Personnel Services, Inc. for authorized ABBA personnel using JazzHR. It provides stage-specific workflow checks, ownership and possible-duplicate reminders, Discussion visibility validation, document checks, and an Ownership Confirmation Comment drafting tool.
JazzHR remains the system of record. RecruitWise does not replace the user's responsibility to perform appropriate due diligence or comply with ABBA policies.
Information processed
RecruitWise accesses information already displayed to an authorized user in ABBA's JazzHR workspace when that information is necessary for a visible workflow feature. Depending on the candidate page and selected workflow stage, this may include:
- candidate and recruiter names, contact details, and application fields;
- workflow stages, required-field values, and Collection List or initial-payment field values;
- Discussion comments used to check for an Ownership Confirmation Comment;
- document filenames used for document-dependent checks; and
- JazzHR ownership, other-job, and possible-duplicate indicators.
RecruitWise responds transiently to relevant actions taken on a JazzHR candidate page so it can display the requested checks. It does not record or transmit browsing history, mouse movements, keystrokes, or general user activity.
How information is used
Information is processed locally within the user's browser solely to provide RecruitWise's disclosed recruitment-workflow features. These include checking whether configured fields have values, validating required document filenames, reviewing loaded Discussion comments for an OCC marker, displaying duplicate and ownership reminders, and generating approved OCC wording.
Temporary storage
After the user opens a candidate's Documents tab, RecruitWise temporarily retains detected document filenames and the scan time in Chrome session storage. This allows document-dependent checks to operate during the active browser session.
RecruitWise does not maintain an external database. Session-storage information is not synchronized and is cleared when the browser session ends.
Sharing and transmission
RecruitWise does not sell, disclose, or transfer candidate information, Discussion content, document filenames, payment-related field values, or usage information to third parties. It does not use information for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness, lending, or any purpose unrelated to its recruitment-workflow functions.
The extension runs only on https://app.jazz.co/* and interacts with the JazzHR page already opened by the authorized user. Generated OCC text is written to the clipboard only when the user selects Copy to Clipboard.
Security and access
RecruitWise is intended for authorized ABBA personnel and is distributed privately through ABBA's managed Google Workspace environment. Users must continue to follow ABBA's information-security, privacy, and recruitment policies when accessing or handling candidate information.
Limited Use
The use of information received from Chrome APIs and website content will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. RecruitWise uses information only to provide or improve its disclosed user-facing recruitment-workflow features.

This policy may be updated when RecruitWise's features or information-handling practices change. The last-updated date below identifies the current version.
